This is an interview between a Film Analyst "Mr. Nak" and Cultural Expert "Mr. Neath". This interview has a lot of information that contains the religion, culture, as well as tradition of a country in Southeast Asia which is known as Cambodia. During the interview, you will see that they are talking about a religion which is Buddhism, the second largest after Islam in Southeast Asia. On top of that, they also provide some good examples from the film called "Tum Teav" since this film contains a bunch of information about the culture and tradition of Cambodia in the past. Please watch the video for more detail.
The first picture is the cover of the film and the other three are the cover from different books. From the books and film itself, the culture and tradition of Cambodia can be shared with our neighbor countries in Southeast Asia as well as other countries that are outside of Southeast Asia. This is why film and literature played an important role for every country in sharing, showing, and telling everybody else about who they are because not everyone could travel and experience every culture of other countries. From watching the film or reading the books, they might understand and know a little bit of that country.
